Nutrition is a lifelong relationship with food. If your goal is to look good and feel good AND keep looking good for life, then you have to master this one tip that Allentown, PA Gym sharing with you today.
Throughout my career, I have often heard excuses for why you CAN’T eat a certain way. It is always something like, “but I can’t live without eating white rice every meal!” or “I want to enjoy life. Eating whatever I want IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT!”
Now I am not opposed to enjoying life to the fullest, and I am certainly not against eating white rice. However, those excuses sound something like what my 2-year-old daughter would say when I try to get her to eat her veggies.
A big “NO” accompanied by food being thrown all over the place! Not a pretty sight!
Yet, just because we are grownups doesn’t mean we are not still letting our inner 2-year-olds running our lives and preventing us from reaching our full potential.
We are all shaped by our genetic, childhood, family, friends and environment. These factors influence our lives but they DO NOT determine everything that happens in our lives and DEFINITELY DO NOT run our lives….
Unless you let it in Gyms in Allentown PA!
Here is what I have come to accept as the definition of being a grownup.
Being a grownup is about accepting the responsibilities to exercise your power of choice.
Yes, read it again and let it sink in.
In every situation, we have the power to choose our actions or thoughts, or both. Even when you decide not to choose to do anything, that IS a choice. A choice to do nothing! Once you do decide to exercise your power of choice, things become a lot easier.

If you are tightly focused on it so, you can also become a great trainer.
For instance, I can choose to think, “Oh, I’ll just get one, I can’t help myself” at that plate of chocolate chip cookies that just came out of the oven, or I can choose to think, “Yes, they look delicious, yes, I love cookies, but no, I’m not going to eat one right now and I’m not going to feel deprived or punished by doing so.”
Now you are choosing to feel good about making a choice to not eat the cookies. All of a sudden, it is not a matter of willpower anymore but a matter of choice and desire.
Relying on willpower means that one day you will break. But feeling the power of making the right choice will ensure that your willpower will never be tested.
Embrace the power of choice. Master that superpower, and all your health and fitness dreams center will soon become a reality in Gyms in Cumming GA.
